Toolangi Chardonnay 2007

This is, take no prisoners Chardonnay. It makes a bold statement from moment one and never retracts it thereafter. It is afraid of no-one and delivers its impact on its own, and in a way that says here I am and I am here to stay whether you like it or not. Oak makes a prominent apperance, Frence oak at that. Coupled with butterscotch and classic peach and melon, it delivers the fruit varietally, and classically. Robust, distinct and lively crisp acidity, all together it is a wine that is of substance all the way through to the end. Youthful and vibrant, yes, full of energy, yes and very dynamic as well. Try this with creamy pumpkin risotto.
