Lock Stock & Barrel Wines

For our flagship Chardonnay we selected two rows of exceptional fruit from our Willunga Sharktooth vineyard named after the giant fossilized Magalodon tooth discovered there in the 1980’s. The prehistoric ancestor of the Great White Shark measured 25 metres in length.

Tasting Notes

The long fermentation and extended less contact accentuated the intense grapefruit, nectarine, guava, and honeydew melon aromas, which are complemented by intense lime and orange-peel flavours with a hint of white chocolate. Fruit driven and flinty, this beautifully balanced complex wine has an excellent length of flavour and a creamy texture on the palate.
