Sorrento Sangiovese 2004
We planted a small block of this famous Italian variety in our Little Road vineyard at Whites Valley near Aldinga. From this very versatile grape we decided to make a Chianti style wine, which complements our climate and casual dining.
Tasting Note
The bouquet exhibits glazed red cherries, strawberry and herbs. The palate is fresh and lively showing spice, Chinese Mulberry, sweet pink plum and savoury overtones, a fruity medium weight style which displays subtle tannin and good length. Can be served at room temperature or chilled if desired.
Great with antipasto, pizza, cheeses, fruit and nut platter, all pasta dishes or just a fabulous drink at any time by itself
