Polish Hill River Shiraz 2003
Given the dry conditions of the 2002-2003 growing season the wines are showing very good varietal characters and depth of flavours. Harvested mid April.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Shows ripe berry fruits and a hint of licorice.
Colour: A vibrant youthful deep red.
Palate: In the mouth the wine is soft and full with rich ripe fruit while retaining the elegant style for which we are known. It has good weight, beautiful balance and a seamless texture.
Technical Details
Cellaring: Drink now until 2012+.
Serving Suggestion: Lamb shanks, roast beef braised oxtail.
