Polish Hill River Riesling 2008
Prolonged drought conditions during the growing season promoted bud burst and maturation of the grapes 4 weeks earlier than normal. However the ripening period remained the same allowing classic varietal flavours to develop.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Clean citrus / floral lift to the nose.
Colour: Pale straw with green tinges.
Palate: Flavours of lime / citrus are dominant with some underlying tropicals evident. A delightful freshness of acid and minerality through the middle palate and to the finish.
Technical Details
Cellaring: Drink now or cellar for 10+ years for those rewarding aged characters.
Serving Suggestion: Whiting, Oysters, Prawns.
